The “dependence”  complements the main house with its own living-kitchen area, seamlessly connecting to the pool and ideal for summer gatherings. At the heart of the estate lies a spectacular 10 x 4 meter (13 x 33 foot) pool, designed for relaxation and leisure, complete with an outdoor solar shower. The gentle hybrid chlorine and salt system ensures a soothing swim experience. Surrounding the pool, eight adjustable lounge chairs provide the perfect spot for sunbathing, complemented by colorful waffle towels for added comfort.

As twilight descends, the ambiance of  Tymen and Olives transforms into a magical setting. The illuminated olive grove and tranquil surroundings invite you to unwind, whether dining outside by the pool, on the terrace, or at one of the delightful , high quality local restaurants. Neighborhood

Uzès is a small but exceptional southern France town with a much larger  reputation. Its wonderful Medieval and Renaissance buildings and architecture, along with its thriving cultural activities, and renowned weekly markets (Wednesdays and Saturdays) have contributed to its fame. It has won awards as one of the most welcoming towns in the world, as having one of the best markets in France, and also for having the best bread. The town has attracted many artists and artisans, as well as up and coming chefs, as the numerous excellent restaurants attests.

Getting Around

Numerous attractive villages are in the surroundings of Uzès, and walks or bike rides or drives through the many vineyards to these ancient villages are very appealing. The long history of the area is perhaps best exemplified by the nearby Pont du Gard, arguably the best-preserved Roman Aqueduct anywhere, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Further afield lie all of the glorious attractions of Provence and the Languedoc. The historic city of Nîmes, with its remarkable Roman Arena and the Maison Carrée Roman temple, and lovely fountain gardens, only 25 minutes away. Avignon the City of the Popes on the River Rhone is 40 minutes away. Within an hour's drive lie ancient Arles, lovely St. Remy, dramatic Les Baux, the lovely, Camargue, thriving Montpellier, while a bit further offers Aix, Cassis, Marseille, and the Luberon. However, apart from the sites to visit, there is the incontestable leisure to be derived from wandering through Provence and its backwaters, enjoying the scenery, the history, the food and the wines - an unmatched experience.

Other things to note

While the pool is equipped with an alarm system, the open layout of the property, with the pool as its central feature, makes Olivette unsuitable for children under the age of five.

Getting Around

Nimes has two train and TGV stations and is less than 40 minutes away. Avignon is 45 minutes. Montpellier, the nearest airport, is  an hour away.
