Santa Dorotea is in historic Trastevere, just off Piazza Trilussa, the famous little square with its 17th century fountain and popular gathering spot on the Trastevere side of the magnificent Ponte Sisto bridge. The neighborhood is trendy, and evocative as well as full of wonderful restaurants of all levels. The beautiful Farnesina Museum if just up the street.

It's just a stroll across the bridge to the historic centre, Campo di Fiori, the Piazza Farnese, and all the great monuments.
