Austria and Germany

WELCOME TO GERMANY

An iconic and historic country, Germany has become a widely visited place not only for peering into its grim past, but also for its vastly beautiful countryside and its evolving trends and hip city life.

Berlin is, of course, the capital of Germany, with all its historical implications. It is today, a young and active international city, offering lively nightlife, many cafés, clubs, and bars, street art, and numerous museums, palaces, and other sites of historic interest. Berlin’s architecture is quite varied. Although badly damaged in the final years of World War II, then broken apart during the Cold War, Berlin’s reconstruction is a marvelous renaissance, especially following the reunification push after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

Traunstein is in the Alp-laden state of Bavaria, bordering Liechtenstein, Austria, and the Czech Republic. A quaint town set in the most scenic countryside, Traunstein is perfect for both winter and summer holidays.
