This tasteful and stylish hotel in Saint Germain is in a small 17th Century building, on the highly desirable Rue de Verneuil, a short (therefore not much trafficked relatively quiet street) in the heart of the left bank’s chicest neighborhood, near the Musée d’Orsay. Its 26 rooms vary in size from small to generous, but all are well decorated, comfortable and contain everything that you would expect in an elegant Parisian establishment. The service impeccable, the breakfast is a perfect French treat, whether served in the room or downstairs. The bar in the reception area is like a private living room. If it feels a bit like a private house, it means the owner has succeeded in her objective.
Of course it is in a great location, close to Saint Germain des Prés, with a plethora of Antique shops, Art Galleries, fashion shops, Restaurants, famous cafés, and major Museums (including The Louvre) nearby. The staff are very helpful in assisting guests with their needs both inside and outside the hotel and provide a good selection of places to go. The prices are appropriate, from €155 to €276, depending on the size and the season.
