This is truly a special establishment. It has been in the Carrier family for over a 100 years, and remains very much in their hands. This Savoyard heritage provides it with a sense of history and an understanding of its guests' needs. That family influence shows in the relaxed , but professional ambiance and the overall emphasis on comfort. The principal building has 21 impressive bedrooms, along with the even more impressive, and justly famous, dining room. Nearby, across a restful lawn, is "La Ferme" - created in 1997 out of the wood of 15 alpine farm houses. It has 12 ultra Alpine bedrooms, along with an stunning indoor/outdoor pool, a spa and wonderfully cosy traditional Savoyard restaurant. Also in the park are two chalets that are perfect for families that would like to be together in the cosy atmosphere of their own chalet.
Located near the centre of Chamonix, just a stroll away to shops, bars, and restaurants ( if you can bear to leave),the hotel has been able to maintain its serenity as Chamonix has grown. The family has been responsive to changing times and every modern convenience, as well as high style, has been provided for the guests. If you crave fabulous food too, this is your sort of hotel.
We recommend this place highly indeed.
