Maison de l’Artiste is a comfortable and beautifully decorated family house with a heated swimming pool ideally situated in the heart of a village with shops, a bar and bistro and less than 10 minutes from the roman town of Uzes. Nestled by the imposing ruins of the former castle, a sheltered courtyard garden is the perfect spot for al fresco dining or a barbecue.
Featuring spacious and tasteful interiors, the accommodation is arranged over 3 floors and comprises 4 large comfortable bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a well appointed kitchen to ensure a comfortable stay.
On the ground floor 2 living rooms, dining, kitchen, laundry and a shower room. Stairs lead to 3 bedrooms and a study on the first floor all of which overlook the garden. On the second floor a large master suite. The décor is beautifully thought-out and enhanced by a collection of art and mementos from the hosts’ travels.
Wi-Fi throughout as well Sky and Netflix. Other amenities include free standing fans in all bedrooms, 2 Weber barbecues, washing machine and clothes dryer, parasols, 6 sun-beds and comfortable outdoor furniture. The swimming pool (8.5m w 3.5m) is heated to 28 degrees and protected by a cover.
The village is nestled on top of a hill and surrounded by fields of vineyards. It offers shops, a bar, bistro and Tuesday market and is a great location for exploring the roman sites of Nimes, Arles, Avignon and the famous Pont du Gard. Airports at Montpellier and Nimes offer daily flights from the UK and Belgium.
