Blauzac, Occitanie, FR

Maison de l’Artiste is a comfortable and beautifully decorated family house with a heated swimming pool ideally situated in the heart of a village with shops, a bar and bistro and less than 10 minutes from the roman town of Uzès. Nestled by the imposing ruins of the former castle, a sheltered courtyard garden is the perfect spot for al fresco dining or a barbecue.

Featuring spacious and tasteful interiors, the accommodation is arranged over 3 floors and comprises 4 large comfortable bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a well appointed kitchen to ensure a comfortable stay.

On the ground floor 2 living rooms, dining, kitchen, laundry and a shower room. Stairs lead to 3 bedrooms and a study on the first floor all of which overlook the garden. On the second floor a large master suite.  The décor is beautifully thought-out and enhanced by a collection of art and mementos from the hosts’ travels.

Wi-Fi throughout as well Sky and Netflix. Other amenities include free standing fans in all bedrooms, 2 Weber barbecues, washing machine and clothes dryer, parasols, 6 sun-beds and comfortable outdoor furniture. The swimming pool (8.5m w 3.5m) is heated to 28 degrees and protected by a cover.

The village is nestled on top of a hill and surrounded by fields of vineyards. It offers shops, a bar, bistro and Tuesday market and is a great location for exploring the roman sites of Nimes, Arles, Avignon and the famous Pont du Gard. Airports at Montpellier and Nimes offer daily flights from the UK and Belgium.

The detail:

Bedroom 1 with 160cm size bed and adjoining shower room.

Bedroom 2 with 140cm size bed and en-suite shower room

Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds and separate w/c
