Indeed, we arrived home about 1 hour ago. A little sleepy but not as bad as when we went over.
Bev and I can't thank you and Susan enough!! The trip was faultless...and so educational. Whether we were learning about South African politics, the people, the animal behaviour, the fauna, the economic system, judicial system, apartheid, the banks ( didn't realize they were rated # 6 in the world...terrific accomplishment! )etc etc, it was just a fabulous experience! And the weather didn't hurt either!! Your contacts and arrangements made it so easy for us to really enjoy ourselves....we really are extremely appreciative for all you did for us.
Once again, thanks so much for all you did to make our journey to South Africa so memorable."

We are three families from Norway who have been in Italy on vacation the last 10 years. This is the best rental home we have ever had. The service provided from commendablerentals.com was excellent, friendly and effective! The villa was perfectly clean, beautifully decorated and conveniently furnished. The view was amazing, and the surroundings stunning. The beach and interesting sites where all in reach." SH, July, 2011
"This was my first experience of a villa holiday in Italy (having previously stayed in hotels), and I can honestly say that I won't be going back to hotels if other villa's live up to the standards set by this one. The place itself was immaculately clean and had a sense of character about the house that is entirely devoid in hotel rooms. The furnishings were comfortable and plentiful, and the grounds ideal for relaxing (or exercising, as was the case on some days). Situated a 10 minute drive from the nearest town (Todi) it was the right balance of being away from activity but also not way out in the sticks. The nearby villages were lovely and Izzalini had a superb bakery which provided us with bread and pastries every morning. A special mention also to a local restaurant (I Cibbiochi), 5 minutes drive from the villa, and serving the kind of Italian food that is making me hungry just at the memory of it. Overall, I can't fault the villa, the area, or the country and look forward to my next visit." SE, UK, July, 2011

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our holidays in this nice home and beautiful area. Loved our lazy days at the pool as well as exploring the area and its vineyards (which resulted in much excess luggage going home .....). With our thanks and best wishes" B&K, M&N, SWEDEN, Sept.09
"Thank you for introducing us to Sermoneta; the whole village was like a scene out of a fairy tale. We especially enjoyed the pizza restaurant, "Il Mulino". If you are ever around Hertfordshire, please look us up" R,R,B & K - ENGLAND, Aug.09
"Many thanks for two lovely weeks' break from the chaos of Rome, and for your hospitality. Sermoneta is lovely and I did finally get to visit the castle, which was well worth the effort on the hottest day of the year" K&M, ITALY, Aug.09
"Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home. We have enjoyed the beautiful scenery you look out to from the pool. The Piazza at the top (of the village) was so friendly, and your neighbours always spoke to us. We couldn't have chosen better" B,I,M & B - SCOTLAND, July 09
"Sermoneta is a delightful place to spend a week. We were blessed with great weather and were able to spend long days by the pool, or exploring the enchanting narrow streets. For those who enjoy eating out, we found "Bonifacio VIII" and "Il Mulino" to be the best" The T's - SCOTLAND, June '09
"Our indulgent 10 weeks tour of Italy has started perfectly with 2 weeks in Sermoneta - a great base to explore Lazio. Your compendium on the history and areas of interest was indispensable, as were the recommendations on restaurants. We've made he move from the fast lane to the s;ow lane, so have enjoyed lazy mornings, lazy afternoons, smelling the jasmine, enjoying your stories and the sights and sounds of the village. Ciao for now and look us up if you return to Melbourne" S&D - AUSTRALIA, May 09
